College Goals

  1. Prepare competent individuals in accordance with modern educational trends to work professionally in the field of teaching at the high school level and teacher institutes by providing them with scientific knowledge and equipping them with the attitudes and skills that qualify them to perform their duties effectively, and carry out their work as guides, coordinators, motivators, and encouragers for their students. They should be capable of understanding the students’ needs and characteristics and preparing them to face the demands of life in an era of rapid development and change.
  2. Contribute to the development of the educational process in all its aspects at all stages of education by increasing its effectiveness through organizing specialized seminars and conferences addressing the problems and obstacles facing the educational process. Additionally, conducting research and studies aimed at diagnosing the weaknesses in the educational system, providing recommendations and proposals to address and reduce them.
  3. Participate in the development of educational thought and practices, disseminate modern educational trends and their applications, and provide educational advice in specialized fields within the college’s departments to serve the community and solve its problems.
  4. Collaborate with the Ministry of Education in studying educational problems, contribute to the development of education in terms of goals, curricula, study plans, teaching methods, evaluation systems, exams, preparation and development of textbooks.
  5. Train workers in the field of education including directors, supervisors, and educational counselors to enhance their levels and increase their professional experiences, keep them informed of all new developments in various educational fields, and improve the qualifications of qualified teachers by offering specialized programs in postgraduate studies in the field of educational and psychological sciences or in other academic fields.
